(Actually, she wanted to escape through a window.) People "shut the windows" because mental illness is terrifying to them; they don't know how to deal with it. <BR/><BR/>This is a wild medical frontier where much exploration remains to be done. Only truth can dispel people's fears and the shutting of their "windows" to the mentally ill.<BR/><BR/>(OK. I'm off my soap box now.
