This one makes me think of the kids I teach and how they panic under the pressure of time. You capture it well. Thanks, Edward.

And Sandy, aren't we all kids that think we're taking a Test??!

Thanks, Edward--very nicely done!

I have a grandfather clock that continues its ever steady tick-tock, tick-tock, but it becomes the enemy when it seemingly speeds up when trying to beat a deadline!

Your poem made me chuckle with memories of sitting in a desk frantically trying to get through the test which seemed to self-replicate.

Very nice thought, Edward. This goes further than just school tests, it works for getting all the things we do in our lives done in time.

It seems to me that the more accurately we measure time, the more caged we become.
Enjoyed this one.

I love your take on "never ending". It seems there is never enough time, yet some days time can go by so slowly. Beautiful Haiku, and I really like your title.(Thank you for stopping by and commenting).
