Now What Was That Title Again?

I saw her before,
She said she was... my daughter?
-then hugged me, crying.

Told my children tales
Of my years coming of age
-almost believe now.

Looking in yearbooks,
A long line of photographs
-where are they all now?

He jumped up on me,
Looking up with those brown eyes
-single memory.

At night you come back,
And we live those times again
-the way we should have.

Excellent - especially the last. Control those dreams with our fantasy.

Where are they now? I have wondered this when have looked at my yearbook. And if we could line them up again, would they all have the same hairstyles as they did in the 80s?

These all feel very 'interior'... like a confidence only able to be partly shared, but that is the emotional appeal they have. Very nicely done.

Edward--
I really appreciated the many facets of memory experience you put into these haiku.

Some from the perspective of an elder that is living primarily from that whiter space...
Beautifully done.

Many thanks!

The first and the last really resonated with me. All gorgeous gems though.

Edward, here I see a father who doesn't get to visit with his children very often. That is hard.

I saw mine my with 'unlimited' visting priveleges and stil it was not often enough for me. I have those memories you portrayed.

Thank you.
