Seeing The Light

Sun breaks through the clouds,
A narrow beam of light shines
-puddles reflect back.

O Like A Summer Day.....

Dragging heavy chains,
We sang old songs as sun baked
-slow death by chiggers.

Picnic blanket spread,
I read poetry to you
-breeze goes well with wine.

Hiking through woods,
We saw a deer in clearing
-looking back at us.

Sun shines on lush lawn,
Children run slow through sprinkler
-cold water soothing.

Small girl tugs Papa,
Bringing him to the park's swings
-her winged chariot.

Of light posts cast on buildings
-afternoon's shadows.

Manger I would like to Like to wish you the very best on this Special Day!
A special Christmas haiku-

Sun struggled through clouds
Broke spell of an overcast sky
-hazy light beckons
