To Be Free, Or Not To Be Free? That's The Question. (Sorry Will)

For One Single Impression: Freedom

Bear A bear runs over fields
To the stream, pawing out fish
-then to the campsites!

I pushed the kickstart,
I felt power through each atom
-wind going through hair.

After forty years
They finally released him
-an old man, but free.

I should make a choice.
Darn it! Now I can't decide
-I had to do that.

  1. My favorite is the motorcycle! It takes me back to my early years; hopping on the back of my boyfriend's motorcycle and feeling the surge of excitement and the wind in my hair as we powered off! Ha! I would never do that now!

  4. Edward,
I enjoyed these thoughts on various forms of freedom. I wonder how the bear feels! Great stuff. Thanks.

  5. Guess I'm partial to the motorcycle too, though I liked the prisoner released one too.

  6. Love the differing viewpoints of freedom. I particularly like the freedom of the bear to choose where the next meal will come from.
