Straining eyes to see,
Fingers search entire table
-hunt for lost contacts.
Sitting under tree,
No breeze and ninety degrees!
-only mosquitos.
Sweat pouring off skin,
Muscles ache from running track
-hot shower relieves.
Then dive into swimming pool
Freezing water paradise!
Little boy running,
Trips and scrapes knee on sidewalk
-he cries onto home.
Sidewalk pays for it in stomps
No Alcohol or bandage.
I saw her reading,
Fingers moving over text
-so very quickly!

Thanks for visiting me. In your picture it appears you do public speaking. So do I.
I enjoyed these. The movement from the track to the pool is one I can feel and enjoy!
Mosquitoes touch too,
Fairy caress of vampires.
Midsummer night plight.
Another enjoyable post. I've seen the first one in action when my wife used to use them.
I enjoyed the whirlwind feelings as I read your touching works.
YOu've captured the essence of this prompt very well Edward. Excellent!
You touched me with all of these touching movements. I have experience a couple of these, especially the mosquitos.
Once again I can relate to every one of your haiku. The poor little boy in the tanka really does need a bandaid.
When I was his age I didn't know what a bandaid was. :-)
Thank you, Edward,
..
I like the meshing of good tactile experiences along with the painful. Oh, the tickling bite of mosquitos!
Love these fragments of touch sensations all lightly brushed with a little wry humour!
