Farewells, Sad And Happy.

Married twenty years,
Each day a silent goodbye
-lovers, now strangers.

He stood by her grave,
Not believing she was gone
-her moist eyes and smile.

Lukas stood on deck,
Saw Statue Of Liberty
-goodbye poverty

Your consistency is remarkable, Edward...

I loved all of them, but the first one spoke to me the most, having lived through similar goodbyes, that took 20 years...oy vey. Glad for each moment, though.

Thanks again--

I like the contrast you added with the third haiku. As usual all of them were well thought out.
