Boiling Mad

Principal's Office
by Edward S. Gault

We knew we were finished.
Mr. Dingleberry was really going
to lean into us
(he was generally given to
old fashioned fundamentalist style
rants and tirades;
mercy and charitable ecumenism
not being his forte).
Someone had narc-ed.
So we had come clean
about what we had done
with Shiela's purse-
but ol' Dingle was more ticked
about the can of ripe eggs
in the boiler room!
