Out Fran' s small window,

I saw her rustic garden

-pathway to treasure

For Kitty Genovese (d.1964)

She ran down the street,

Windows closed as she screamed out

-they turned a deaf ear.

For years I've layed here,

just looking out the window

-my normality.
