For One Single Impression Prompt: Desert or Deserted.
1. I walked many miles,
My journey told in the sand
-tomorrow, the rain.
2.When I was alone,
xx In the bleakest deep despair
xxx-then You were still there.

These are both incredibly beautiful, each in its own way. I think the first is my favorite, but only by a grain of sand or two.
Ah,the stories written in sand. If only we could know someone would read them before the rain. Thanks, Edward.
Writing in Faith: Poems
I really like how you wrote two very different poems based on just one word. I think I like the first one more than the second but then I reread the second and can't decide. Sand and loneliness: the hoped-for rain and company. Nice.
I love both. Both are so positive. I saw bleakness, you saw beauty.
Just beautiful and such deep meanings.
..hardship,expectation,solitude..mere words..till the meanings are born..
I like the hope of the second poem.
