The first one makes me think of all the kids in a nearby town who have died in accidents. The town seems to lose a number of kids this time of year every year to driving accidents.
Though we can be disfigured or damaged by circumstances, we are ourselves. Thanks for these, Edward.
WRiting in Faith: Poems
Wow, number 3 packs a powerful punch. I don't even want to dwell on your first poem... my son is 21 now and I lived through some scary times when he was younger.
I especially like the first one. Very powerful. Should be posted at the motor vehicle bureau.
All three are very powerful. The first stays in mind!
Great job with all three. The third is often how I feel...nice capture of feeling.
Thank you, Edward, I appreciate these haiku for the OSI prompt "bleeding." I also want to say I appreciate your political philosophy! Obama 2008!
My favorite is the last poem. It rings so true and clear. I can feel the fear of slipping into homelessness again.
I must say that the third one really reflects what I often see when looking into the too many faces out there.
Each cameo view is like a drop of blood spilt - and asks the impossible question of "Why"!
Great write!

...3 great impressions of human bleeding
I really can relate to the third; there, but for the grace of God, go I.
